1800 123 1117Birla Corporation Limited, flagship company of the M P Birla Group, and other organizations and institutions under the Group, had a befitting presence at the Bengal Global Business Summit (7-8 January 2015), in Kolkata, at a 500-sq ft pavilion, showcasing the Group's growing presence in the areas of industry, health care and education. A 20-minute audio-visual presentation on the Group was run continuously on a curved TV screen.
The West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, and Finance Minister, Shri Amit Mitra, visited the pavilion and expressed keen interest in the Group’s multifarious activities. They were welcomed by Shri H V Lodha, Chairman of the M P Birla Group. Shri B R Nahar, Managing Director, Birla Corporation Limited, and other Group executives, also visited the pavilion. Shri Lodha addressed the Summit's concluding session as well as the breakaway session on Healthcare, Education and Skills.
