  1. M. P. Birla Hospital & Research Centre, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan
    The M. P. Birla Hospital & Research Centre (MPBHRC), Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, has been set up by the M.P. Birla Group to serve the people of Chittorgarh and nearby districts. The Hospital is nearing completion and will become operational in the second- half of 2017. Set up at a cost of Rs. 70 crores (approx.), by the M.P. Birla Apex Charitable Trust, it shall be run on a 'not for profit' basis.

    One of the largest hospitals in the private sector in India, Bombay Hospital is a landmark for providing medical relief. It has  state-of-the-art equipment, a nursesí training school and a post-graduate teaching institute. Thirty three per cent of its beds are reserved for free treatment of the needy.  It has super special departments like Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Urology, Nephrology and Orthopedics. The hospital has a satellite unit at Indore and planning to se up another unit at Jaipur.

    Belle Vue Clinic considered a premier health care institution in Kolkata, with a capacity of 130 beds. It provides the best of medical care and conduct medical research. The Clinic houses state-of-the-art equipment to provide comprehensive medical treatment. The Clinic has, apart from various diagnostic departments, Intensive Cardiac Care and Critical Care sections for cardiac and trauma cases and a Nephrology unit.

  4. M. P. Birla Eye Clinic, Kolkata
    The M.P. Birla group has entered into a tie up-with internationally acclaimed Aravind Eye hospital of Mumbai, South India, and set up a quality eye care clinic in Kolkata, West Bengal, for the people of eastern India. The clinic is also providing free treatment through its Out Reach teams. These teams carry eye care to the backwards of west Bengal whereby ophthalmologists and trained auxiliary staff visit remote areas and, working closely with the local community and NGO groups, set up camps and provide the needy with the required facilities. Where surgery is recommended patients are encourage and then brought to the clinic for treatments at heavily subsidized rates. 

  5. Priyamvada Birla Aravind Eye Hospital, Kolkata, West Bengal:
    After establishing the M.P. Birla Eye Clinic, the M.P. Birla Group, in collaboration wih Aravind Eye Care System, set up Priyamvada Birla Aravind Eye Hospital in the heart of Kolkata to provide eye care facilities to the general public. The 46-bed, hospital with a capacity of approx 300 OPD has "state-of-art" equipment and instruments to provide the latest eye care services not only to the people from Kolkata but from all over the eastern region of India.

  6. Hindustan Medical Institution, Barrackpore:
    The 10-bed hospital was established in 1989 and is managed in association with the Ramkrishna Vivekananda Misssion, About 10,000 patients' avail themselves of its facilities every year.


  7. Birlapur Hospital, Birlapur:
    Birlapur Hospital set up in 1988 has a capacity of 60 beds. The Hospital, situated at Budge Budge, 24-Parganas (South), West Bengal, was established to serve the rural population of the region. The hospital with OPD facilities and various diagnostic departments has been rendering the much needed medical services at affordable rates to the patients from nearby area and villages. It has the infrastructure facilities catering to various medical disciplines to meet the requirements of the region. Specialized advice from experts is also provided.

  9. Priyamvada Birla Cancer Research Institute, Satna (Madhya Pradesh)
    The Institution has been set up to provide diagnostic and treatment facilities to patients suffering from cancer in the entire Vindhya region. "State-of-art" Cancer therapy facilities under one roof with latest technology (40 Channel Brachytherapy unit, Duel Energy Linear Accelerator and radiation field analysis with CT simulation) has been set-up in the hospital to provide the necessary diagnostic and treatment facilities to patients and help them get timely treatment with huge financial savings.

    The M, P. Birla Medical Research Centre has three research laboratories in Kolkata, Birlapur and Satna. All the three laboratories are actively pursuing research work in the field of medical sciences. It is recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization by the Department of Science and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, New Delhi.

    Looking at the need of medical facilities in the backward and rural area of Jhusi, near Allahabad, a dispensary was set up in 1988. More than 3, 50,000 patients have been benefited so far and the dispensary has become very popular among villagers.

  12. Rameshwar Das Birla Smarak Kosh:
    The R. D. Birla National Award has been instituted by the Kosh under the aegis of Bombay Hospital to encourage outstanding research in bio-medical science by an Indian working in India.
