As Chairman of the Company, he transformed it from a manufacturer of jute goods to a leading multi-product corporation with widespread activities.

Birla Jute Mills manufactures more than 120 tons of a variety of jute goods. It is a leading exporter to the demanding markets of Argentina, Australia Belgium, Colombia, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Japan, Peru, The Netherlands, UK, USA and Vietnam, among others.
