Birla Corporation Limited was felicitated on 24 July 2010, for being one of the Top Corporate tax payers in West Bengal, at a function organized by the Income Tax Department in celebration of 150 years of its existence.

The Company’s Board of Directors, while approving the audited financial results for 2011-12, declared a final dividend of Rs. 3.50 per share in addition to the interim dividend of Rs. 2.50 per share, already declared and paid, taking the total dividend to Rs.6 per share (60%).

Satna Cement Works’ Quality Circle team, “Pratigya”, recently received the International Convention of Quality Circle (ICQC) “2nd Distinguished” Award at Yokohama (Japan).
